Our groundnut shell briquettes are made from 100% natural groundnut shell waste, compressed at high pressure to ensure high calorific value, low ash and excellent combustion. They are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuels, helping industries reduce carbon footprint and fuel costs.
Key benefits
- Renewable Resource Sourced from Agricultural Peanut Waste
- Cost Effective Alternative to Steam Coal, Lignite, and Firewood
- Low Emissions Protecting Heat Exchanger Coils and Air Quality
- High Calorific Value (3,800 – 4,200 kcal/kg)
- High Compressed Density (800 – 950 kg/m³) Yielding Long Burn Longevity
- Low Moisture (8 – 12%) for Rapid Furnace Ignition
- Reliable Recurring Monthly Supply by Shagun Bio Energy
Raw material
Clean, dried groundnut pods collected directly from oil extraction solvent mills and agricultural processing clusters across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh.
Manufacturing process
Raw shell screening → Heavy shredding/pulverizing → Hot air rotary drying → Hydraulic piston pressing under 1,000+ kg/cm² pressure → Natural cooling rack → Bulk sorting.
Industrial suitability
Ideal for manual and stoker-fed boilers, fixed-grate furnaces, brick kilns, rolling mills, and cast metal annealing kilns.
Storage requirements
Store under dry shed roofs. High density gives superior weathering resistance, but direct rain exposure should be avoided.
Transportation
Delivered in high-side freight trucks (FTL) with full tarpaulin coverage.
Applications
- Textile dyeing units and denim processing plants
- Refractory brick kilns and terracotta ceramic kilns
- Solvent extraction and edible oil refining plants
- Chemical reaction vessels and steam generation plants
- Commercial bakeries and food processing units
Packaging options
Loose Bulk Truckloads
Delivered directly in full truck loads (16-30 MT) for maximum freight economy.
50 kg Polypropylene Bags
Standard packaged format for organized manual handling and inventory control.
Product FAQs
Can groundnut shell briquettes be used in brick kilns?
Yes, groundnut shell briquettes are widely preferred in modern zig-zag and continuous brick kilns because they burn with a long, consistent flame and leave manageable ash that blends safely with brick baking soils.
What is the size and density of groundnut shell briquettes?
Our groundnut shell briquettes measure approximately 50 – 100 mm in size with an impressive compressed density of 800 – 950 kg/m³, allowing efficient transport volume utilization.
